You can dial telephone numbers stored in the directory and in the call lists.
Important: The telephone menu must be displayed Fig. 2.
Placing a call
Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- Fig. 3 to select Nos. dialled, Directory, Missed calls or Received calls Fig. 2.
Press the left thumbwheel -1-. A list of entries Fig. 1 will appear in the display of the driver information system.
Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- to select an entry and press the left thumbwheel.
Placing a further call
Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- Fig. 3 to select Hold and press the left thumbwheel. The call will then be placed on hold.
Press the MODE button -2- Fig. 3 repeatedly until the telephone menu Fig. 2 appears in the display of the driver information system.
Scroll the left thumbwheel to select either a call list or the directory and press the left thumbwheel Fig. 1. A list of entries will appear in the display of the driver information system.
Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- to select the entry and press the left thumbwheel. All telephone numbers stored for the selected entry will be shown.
Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- to select a telephone number and press the left thumbwheel. The telephone connection is established and the active audio source is muted automatically.
Ending calls
Scroll the left thumbwheel to select End call and press the left thumbwheel -1-.
If several telephone numbers are stored in a directory entry, the list of stored telephone numbers is displayed first when the entry is selected. Scroll the left thumbwheel -1- to select the desired telephone number and press the left thumbwheel.
When you have ended the current call, the call that was holding remains on hold. To continue with the call on hold, select Resume Link and press the left thumbwheel.
Use the option Switch Link to go back and forth between two calls.
Note
  • You can use the multi-function steering wheel to dial only those numbers that have been stored beforehand. Enter a new telephone number via the speller on the MMI Link, the handset* Link or the speech dialogue system Link.
  • The telephone functions will depend on the mobile network service provider and the mobile phone used. For more information, contact your service provider.
  • If you activate the option off (phone) in the navigation function, you will not hear any navigation cues while you are talking on the telephone Link.
  • You can scroll through directory entries in blocks by scrolling the left thumbwheel quickly.
